Cats as fillers...

Since there is not much going on...cat photos are always good fillers for my blog...Here are some photos of the cats dozing off....and I know...Hades sleeps with free style....lol....


Billy took photos of Mintie looking serious....and also Mintie looking FAT....lol...

One day Mintie came to restroom to look for me....I was gonna weight her so I closed the door and flushed the toilet before I lifted her up. Apparently she got really scared of the flushing water sound so she freaked out and scratched me as she struggled and fell to the counter....

Billy took a photo of Hades & Mintie being mirror image with each other....not exactly...

One day Hades decided to go to the other room and sleep there....He wanted to get in the small box so I moved stuff out and he enjoyed his day there....I think the box was indeed too small for him though, cuz after that day I haven't seen him there since....

I guess that is it for today....hahahaha....oh....I forgot to mention....Last night is the 1st time Mintie stopped having diarrhea ever since I don't even remember when....I think the pumpkin I gave her starting from Sun worked!!!!! I was very excited about that even though I had to wait till 1 am for her to poop....It's all worth it :)

Mother's day and all that food....

Last Sun was mother's day....and Billy's mom's BD was close to it so we just treated people with a mother's day dinner. So why do we see a sunflower here? Well....it's because Billy got flowers for Tigran's mom again. We went to their house to drop off the flowers and got stuck cuz she wanted to talk and feed us some desserts. Man...she sure is one talkative lady....Anyway....Took a shot of the center sunflower from the whole flower basket....I like how vibrant the color was....

This is the place we went for the Mother's day dinner. The Eng name of the place is called "Duck House"...Apparently they just changed the name recently since it's easier for American people to remember. The whole place looked Chinese.....yeah of course....

This is what the place was famous for....duh....It's called the Duck House for some reason....

What was left from the suck was cooked with the bean sprouts, and also we have the soup which was supposedly cooked by using the bones or what was left from the duck...

Here are two dishes I kinda liked....one is the "mountain medicine" treated cold, and the "three cup" mushrooms were tasty too....

Something I didn't bother to try much. The "oily rice" part was alright....

The fried tofu with shrimp was kinda nice...and fish....apparently I didn't order that and would not comment on it....

Well....this is the mother's day cake Billy's sister in law got....She was all fuzzy about how the cake store messed up the order and stuff....WHATEVER.....

I think it was because of the candles all photos with the cake turned out with a weird color....

The piece Billy and I shared....I am totally not into chocolate, but the mochi inside of the cake was kinda interesting....even though it was too sweet.....I guess people do have diff. taste...:p

The chocolate got burnt by the candles....lol....

So...I guess it's a lot of eating over the past week and we got terribly fat. The duck also brought out a lot of poison in us I think. I kept on having pimples all over me....and headache...and other stuff....I think in the future I should just avoid duck all together since I was never a big fan of it to start with. Alright....enough pictures....and mom....if you are reading this.....Happy BD to you even though I can't celebrate it with you....Let me know what you want for mother's day and I will tell Ivan to bring it back to you, ok? :)

A day at the garden...actually quite relaxing.....

We went to Descanto garden Sat afternoon. I kinda liked the place which was kinda surprising cuz I am not a flower person. I guess I liked it cuz there were enough tall trees which just kept the place shady enough for me. I alos liked how it is kinda small so we didn't have to waste too much time just trying to get through everything...Anyway....here are the photos....

Flowers close to the entrance. I took a shot of the lotus with a tiny blue dragonfly on the leave enev though the focus was on the flower....

I am not sure if Japanese people at the time really had this sort of lights....

A shot at the Japanese garden...kinda nice...

From Lilac garden....The season already passed but there were some left....oh and there were a lot of purple flowers in the garden right now....weird...

So this is the flower that is EVERYWHERE in the garden. I don't really understand why people would want to buy this kinda flower but they do....I think it's called Camellia? or something like that which I don't think I will try to remember for long...lol

Didn't even know I caught a bee when I was shooting the bell flower which was moving violently by the wind....

We were trying to take a photo of us on the two chairs out of no where....but then couldn't find a place to set the camera....so I got this solo photo again....

A stranger took this for us....yeah I forgot the tripod again....I think I am gonna try and bring Ivan here so he can take photos for us....lol....

Very vibrant poppy seed flowers....not even sure if I have the name right....oh well....

Cactus with flowers....and I think the flowers must be sweet cuz you see ants and bugs in them...

The turtle was totally enjoying the sun unlike me....

A lot of roses from the rose garden. I personally don't like it when roses fully open, but I guess many people still like roses.....

I actually liked the afternoon at the garden except I think I was wearing the wrong shoe...Now we bought the annual pass to the garden I think next time I will remember to wear my sneakers... :)
