End of June is near, and summer officially started this week....

Ok....not much to update....so I decided to put some photos of the cats to who how they "sleep around" the house....

Hades sometimes sleep on the arms of our sofa next to the windows.....that is when he is in a good mood, not wandering in the back yard....

Mintie loves her favorite red pillow on the sofa...and there is a special spot for her to sleep on the sofa too...

and of course both of them sleep on the tree house...taking turns of course cuz usually they don't like sharing....at least Hades doesn't....


and when Hades is in a REALLY GOOD mood....he would let Mintie lick him and sleep next to him using her as a pillow....on the bed....

and here is the new kid nobody likes....I guess Chap is just too young and ADD for my cats to like....He is usually locked in his own room. Hopefully in a month or 2 Hades and Mintie will not mind him roaming around in the house freely...


Ok...here is the only new thing we got in June. Billy and his dad put together this gazebo thingy and with the table and chairs we got we now eat dinners in the backyard when the sun goes down. Hades loves it when we eat there cuz then we would be spending time with him in the backyard, and then he can show us how he sprays....lol....

Ok...one last photo which I took with iphone....One day I woke up and Mintie was having such a good time when I was petting her she actually turned around to show me her belly....believe me she doesn't do this a lot...just too cute....:)

It's almost at the end of June....Big shocker for June was the news of Jen getting married. I am still worried how the cats will be when we fly over for that wedding. Let's pray and hope all things will be fine at home while we are gone....sighs...

1st weekend of June

Didn't do much over the weekend, but went to renew our membership at Descanso Garden Sun afternoon. It's too bad we were all busy moving so we didn't have chances to visit when there were flowers blooming...oh well....some photos down here...

Saw two old men trying to take photos on the tree and wondered what they were shooting....and here it is....:)


So this is what the raccoon was eating....It was all over the places on the tree....

I think he liked us....came down from the tree to the ground....


Billy took a photo of the spider web...not exactly pretty but it's there....lol


Seriously this guy liked us cuz we saw him again in the garden after all the time we spent looking at him on the tree....

Took a photo of the old man taking photos....I want that kinda life when I grow old I think...

Japanese garden is always pretty for some reason....

Don't really understand why the maple leaves are red at this time of the year....

I guess he was ugly....oh well....that is that for the weekend....

House updates, May 2010

Just some photos for the house....most of the rooms are semi-settled...Other things will come later....

The cats like their tree house next to the living room windows. I guess they enjoy staring at whatever that is moving outside....

Guest room which probably needs a sofa bed or something. Our cats like to sleep in this room at times cuz this is the 1st room we slept in when we 1st moved....

Fake cat on the fireplace with roses....

Dining room...needs new chairs someday...or not...

Bathroom next to our bedroom....


Our bedroom.....The other 2 walls not in the photo are light blue...So this room is quite colorful I guess....

Cool light we got for our bedroom. It makes us feel like we are in the woods at night with all the cool reflections....

Laundry room still needs a new light....not in a hurry though...

A lot of food stacked in the pantry now....door is still not installed....

This bathroom is what we use to take showers for the past few weeks....will probably switch to our own bathroom soon...

Bonus room is cleaner now...but still a lot of stuff floating around....

This is the study/practice room I supposed....at this point it's Chap's room cuz we need to hide him from the cats....

New lights Billy installed at the hallway. I will have to work on putting photos up later so the lights can shine on them....

Sunflowers replaced the roses from last week....didn't last too long though.....
