Pittsburgh trip day 3 @ State College, PA

Well....3rd day of our trip is actually the reason why we had the trip to start with. Xiao-Zhen was getting married and it's out of the blue so we were the family representatives other than her own immediate family. We drove around 2 1/2 hours from Pittsburgh to attend the wedding, and I was actually afraid of being late so I don't think I slept too well. We arrived and took uncle and his family out to lunch, and then headed directly to the wedding site since they seemed to be worried and wanted to arrive early....

We visited the famous creamery at their school cuz we had too much time before the wedding. I have to say the college town was indeed very boring. It's basically the school and then one street that has shops to provide for the students' needs. I am very happy I didn't have to go to a school like that....oh well....

Took some photos before the wedding....Bride obviously was hiding....

People getting in before the ceremony.....

Stuff Billy wrote on their blessing card.....You have to know Chinese to understand what he wrote....

Uncle wanted to pretend he was the 4th groom's man....

Moms lighting the candles...

Bride's maids and Groom's men....

I have not seen so many flower girls in one ceremony before....

Uncle walking Xiao-Zhen in....You can totally see how nervous she was....lol

Result of having too many flower girls.....especially if their parents don't know how to control kids...This is actually "during" the ceremony, not after....

I like photos without faces....lol

The newly wedded couple.....

I heard the cakes were made by church members....

The immediate families....

Some photos after the wedding for "our" side of family....

They apparently enjoyed the reception food very much....I just didn't know why they wanted to eat so much right before dinner.....

Outdoor pictures turned out much better with the natural sun light....

Don't ask me what he was trying to do....

This little girl was hitting on Billy....She kept on talking to him and tried to rub against him....lol....oh and she is from China so I guess that is why she was very talkative for a kid...

Best photo of the day....

We thought it was funny that David looked like the groom the way he was sending off guests with his sister...

One of my favorite photos that I took of the wedding day....even though I had no idea what they were running back and forth to the car for....

We took bunch of photos here and I think uncle + his wife finally noticed so they wanted a photo here too....

Wedding dinner was at this Italian place called Alto. The restaurant is kinda cool cuz the place looked like a house in a residential area....

People at the dinner were the close families and wedding party only....

Well....mission accomplished......
