Year end trip of 2010, Day 1--Sequoia National Park

We took a week long road trip up to N. CA and back after X-mas. It was raining a lot the few weeks before we left, and weather was still not ideal when we started the trip. Our 1st stop was Sequoia national park, and we arrived around 3 in the afternoon....I think...Here are the photos...:)

Saw this deer while we were driving up...

Roads were all messed up because of the weather....

People all of a sudden stopped to put on snow chains....that shows you how bad the weather was...We put on our new chains on too...Billy got them just for this trip....

The temperature was really low, and the clouds were just beautiful :)


We had dinner at Fresno after all the drive down from Sequoia. I liked the scallop appetizer the most :)
