Ok....I was lazy and didn't bother to continue on our Chicago trip. Here is the 2nd day of the trip. We took the trolley in the morning and tried to go to the museums with the triangle line. We tried to take a photo on the trolley with the river in the back...didn't turn out too well but at least it can prove we were on trolleys for the trip. Weather started quite nice in the morning...and....I guess life is unpredictable like the weather there....
Inside of the filed museum. We went there because it was raining like crazy outside, and the observatory didn't seem that impressive to me. I think we were charged less than the regular price at the filed museum. Somehow we got a senior discount for no reason....so who was the senior? lol....
We pretended to be at places from the backgrounds and the special constructed rooms. The 2nd photo is supposed to be from New Zealand. The animals looked like real...
Outside of the museum....The arena is across the museum...
Mellenuim Park is right next to Michigan Ave. The water flowering thingy has faces on them but then it was hard to see when the sun was bright. The outside stage also looked very cool. Billy thought the designer must be the same one that designed the Disney concert hall in LA...
This is called the cloud gate, but then some people call it the bean. It looks like an egg from the side....quite cool cuz on the bean you can see the whole Michigan Ave reflected on it.
These were photos we took from the reflection of the bean.
Billy took these two...under the bean and on the side...not bad at all....
The Village is so called the oldest Italian food place in Chicago....not sure if that is really true...There are three diff. restaurants in this building, and we went to the one upstairs. I think they try to make everything "village-like" in the place...
Billy's seafood pasta + my chicken marsala.
So we decided to go to the Macy's in downtown. On the way there we were trying to take a photo outside of the Chase building...and...wind was super strong my camera was actually blown to the ground and chipped....The only cool thing in Macy's was the ceiling I guess. They did have a big furniture floor but nothing was all that interesting....
Billy really wanted to try the loop trains (which only circles around downtown) so we went to take the loop trains after dinner....
This is the bridge on our way to Sear's Towers...and It's Chicago river of course...
We ended our 2nd day at Sear's Tower. The wind was super strong that my hair looked like a black dude...
