Last day of Sedona...

Our last day at Sedona started with a lot of packing and transporting Hades into the car. He was not especially trilled being in the car again but then he was behaving better. While Billy went to check out I just took a photo of my favorite type of trees.....the type that has no leaves.

After we left the hotel we went to the last stop in Sedona which is called the chapel of Holy Cross. It is a chapel built right in the middle of some red rocks, which does not really hold any services. My eyes really looked awful in the morning with those eye bags...Oh well...

I took a photo of the cathedral rock from the chapel....just thought that is kinda amusing...chapel vs. cathedral....

Here are photos taken outside of the chapel, from the windows of the chapel, inside of the chapel...etc.

When we were walking back to the parking lot I saw coins thrown by people as if it's a wishing well...kinda funny...I also took some photos of cactus since that is supposed to be the famous plant for Arizona.

Ok....here is Hades...that is how he was sitting/sleeping on the car....

Our last photos with the red rocks at the last view point we stopped at....couldn't really open eyes right since we were kinda looking at the sun...and then that was it for Sedona....

This is a photo of Flagstaff. Since we took a diff. route back home (40) we passed by flagstaff and on the way there were really lots of snow. I just took this one photo when we got gas and lunch. Quite amazing how the whole place looked so diff. form Sedona.

On 40 we really didn't have much to see, but at least the traffic was all good. I took 2 photos to close the whole trip. It was not exactly easy to take photos from a car that was driving in the speed of 80 miles / hr....Ok....enough on the trip.....new year started and let's hope everything just gets better....
