Our 3rd day at Sedona started with lunch. We slept in and went to lunch so that Hades could feel better with us around in the hotel with him longer. Billy looked over the listing of restaurants and we had hard time finding the place we wanted to eat at. So while he was looking for the place I took a photo of the steam boat rock....and then at the end when we finally found the place...it was closed....some sort of luck...We ended up having a lighter lunch at this place called "Red"....
SO here are the food we had...which....also got us through dinner on the same day. I guess our appetite weren't all that big while we were at Sedona :)
After lunch we drove to this vista point north of route 89, hoping to find a place where we can see most of the red rocks and take good pictures...and then....We ended up seeing a lot of snow...totally unexpected....There were also some Indian people who were trying to sell their hand made jewelries...just thought that was kinda interesting....yeah....out of no where for everything....
We also saw two snowmen standing there so we tried hard to walk close to them and took photos....I personally liked the happy looking one better....:)
After all those snow, we went on the other end of 89 trying to find another place for photo taking....and then ended up at a place where we could see the cathedral rocks....so here they are..
I think photos we took with the tripod turned out pretty nice :)
We found another spot for some more photos...
and then drove to this other scenic viewpoint where there were SO MANY people watching the sunset. It was basically impossible to take photos without those people in the photos....and the ones strangers took for us just looked bad....check it out just to see how our photos with tripod were so much better....sighs...Oh and then the one rock on the right hand side is the teapot rock..
Our day ended with a walk through the gallery that was right next to our hotel...didn't really see anything that impressive but we took a photo with the red rock wall at the exit. The last photo is how the thin moon and single star looked like right before we walked back into hotel to spend "family" time with Hades :)
